PU Injection Grouting

How it works:

The 48-Hour Ponding Test

Every flat roof waterproofing project completed by Xoo Roofing undergoes a 48-hour ponding test before handover. This is the most rigorous verification method for flat roof waterproofing.

The process is simple but thorough: all drain outlets are temporarily blocked, and the roof is flooded with 50 to 100mm of water. The water is left standing for 48 hours. After the test period, the ceiling below is inspected for any signs of moisture. If the ceiling is completely dry, the waterproofing has passed. If any dampness is detected, the waterproofing is re-applied in the affected area and the test is repeated.

This ponding test goes far beyond the quick spray test that many contractors use. It subjects the entire waterproofing system to sustained water pressure, revealing any weaknesses that a brief water spray would miss.

UV Protection and Heat Reduction
